About Us

Dylan Brown founded Monture Creek Land Management, Inc. in
February of 2010. A native Montanan,
Dylan grew up in Kinsey, MT
a small farm and ranch community near Miles City. Dylan moved to Missoula
in 2001 to attend college at the University
of Montana. While at UM Dylan was an offensive lineman
for the Griz and earned a B.S. degree in Wildlife Biology. After graduation, Dylan worked for a local
logging company for 2 years before attending graduate school at Utah State
University. While at USU, Dylan studied pronghorn, mule
deer and coyotes in southwest Wyoming,
eventually earning a M.S. degree in Wildlife Biology. Dylan moved to Glasgow, MT
in March, 2009 where he supervised a
crew performing weed control near Fort Peck Reservoir. In December 2009, Dylan returned to western Montana and currently lives in Seeley Lake. Dylan believes it is important to stay up to date on current science and management issues. To maintain informed, he attends many professional training courses and is a member of the Montana Weed Control Association and Society of American Foresters. Dylan has a diverse background having worked
as a ranch hand, logger, commercial pesticide applicator, and biologist. This experience has helped
Dylan to understand the importance of proper land management and become
familiar with many of the tools and techniques currently used to manage land
for particular objectives. Often times
there is more than one way to solve a problem, and Dylan prides himself on
being able to look at issues from multiple perspectives.
